Do any of the children on your holiday gift list want games for their Nintendo DS?  Do you know a child getting a Nintendo game system for the first time?  These are two fun games that incorporate popular characters.  We got Rosie a Nintendo last year and she only had two games for the longest time.  Then we were given these to review and she loves them!  Even though she can’t read, she’s been able to pick up how to play, with very little assistance.  We’re also very happy with the amount of time she spends playing – she prefers to play with other children first, traditional games next and screen time (tv or nintendo) comes third.  As long as we give her the opportunity to interact with other children or us, the amount of screen time is reasonable.  I’m of the “most things in moderation” camp, I don’t think video games are in and of themselves bad, it’s all how you play and how much you play.

Zhu Zhu Babies
