Yesterday, I showed you some of the fashion options we found for Rosie’s Back-to-School shopping at Marshalls.  Here are the price tags – be prepared, it’s surprising! For $50, you can choose any of these combinations!

Grey/Pink 2 Piece Set ($19.99); Pink Shirt ($7.99); Zebra Purse ($6.99); Grey Dolman Sleeve Shirt ($9.99); White Shirt w/Silver Heart ($5.99) = $50.95

or

Blue 2-piece Outfit ($16.99); Striped Sweater ($14.99); Zebra Purse ($6.99); Gray Dolmen Sleeve Shirt ($9.99) = $48.96

or

Heart n' Crush Sweater ($14.99); Red, Black and White 2-piece Set ($16.99); Pink Bow Shirt ($7.99); and Zebra Purse ($6.99)= $46.96

We ended up with tons of great pieces that fit in with the season’s trends in sleeves and collars.  Dolman and Kimono sleeves are a huge trend this fall.  I love the gray top on Rosie with the fun, dolman sleeves.  My ‘best find’ was  the black and white striped sweater – the turned down collar just adds a touch of sophistication and designer style.  My overall experience at Marshalls was very positive.

Make sure you read yesterday’s post for tips on Back-to-School shopping on a budget!

Preview for Halloween!

There’s a great video about the trends in fashion this season of dolman and kimono sleeves and what bottoms to pair them with on the TJ Maxx Facebook page – check it out!
