My 7 year old enthusiastically endorses the new lock from Master Lock, the dialSpeed Digital Combination Lock. Master Lock sent it to us for review and I was excited to see the innovations that have been made since the old “2 to the right”. I never could get those things right! Do you remember standing at your locker, turning and turning, pulling… only to find that you did something wrong… again? 1 in 4 Americans say their child cannot always remember their combination or struggle to open their lock*. I showed her how to open the lock one time and she not only remembered the combination, but she could open it again and again, even hours later. Still saying, “this is SO easy”.

The first thing I noticed about the dialSpeed Digital Combination Lock was the clean, sophisticated packaging. No plastic clamshell for this. It reminded me of Apple packaging – the embossed white box. You open it and the first look at the lock elicits a “Wow!”. And the tech-y feel is further advanced by the flash drive included with the lock.
Master Lock took everything difficult about padlocks (for users, not thieves) and removed it. How many locks do you have around your house that you can’t use because you’ve forgotten the combination and forgotten where you put it? With the dialSpeed Digital Combination Lock, you can enter a custom code that is easy to remember.
Another difficult thing about old school padlocks is figuring out the 20 left; 12 right etc. It’s so complicated! When do you go all the way around and when do you go straight to the number? Ugh! With the dialSpeed Digital Combination Lock you just click the directional arrows in the right order and your set – easy! Watch this video and my daughter will show you how easy it is to open this lock!
