Beating the Menopause Blues

The menopause blues can really get you down. It can leave you feeling depressed, irritated and anxious. However, there is a silver lining- these feelings are caused by hormones and this phase of your life will pass!
But, while you are still experiencing the woes of menopause, try out the following tips:

Tip 1: Have Some Me Time

Take time for yourself and do things that help you relax. Get a facial, snuggle up with a good book or go shopping-whatever makes you feel good is a good plan!

Connect with other women who are going through menopause or have already made it to the end of the rainbow. You can share your own experiences and get some good advice from others in your position.

Do not hold in all your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Let those in your life know what you are going through and they will likely offer you support and empathy. If nothing seems to help, try talking to your doctor. They know what you are going through and can offer more suggestions that can help make your life easier.
