The holidays are coming and for many of us, that means, dun-dun-dun….. COMPANY! Â Time to start looking at your house and thinking about a redecorating/remodel project!
Not too long ago, we did a redecorating/remodel of our powder room. Â I liked choosing that room because it is small and manageable, but can make a big impact. Â Did you ever think, that is the only room where guests can look around and not feel obvious about it? Â They are alone in there! Â Seriously, though, it is an opportunity to try a new style without a huge impact on your budget.

I think the sink makes the biggest impact and is what I get the most compliments on. Â Surprisingly, it is not that expensive. Â Floor and Decor sells it for only $59.
Floor and Decor is a great D-I-Y store with what they call “Everyday Low Prices”. Â You can order online or (and I love this!) there are brick-and-mortar stores, as well. Â The Store Locator on their website can help you check to see if there is a store for near you.
Inside a Floor and Decor Outlet Store
I’m excited about making some changes in my kitchen to keep up with my new appliances *heart*. Â One thing I’m dreamin’ of is a glass tile back splash. Â Anyone ever done that yourself? Â It doesn’t look that hard on the d-i-y channels. Â And again, I think it’s something that would make a big difference, don’t you? Â Yes, I’m preparing my persuasive arguments for my husband!

Another dream is hardwood flooring in our family room. Â The carpet is pitiful… it’s going to be time soon to replace it.
Can you tell I’ve been spending lots of time “dreaming” on the Floor and Decor website? Â It’s a great site for low price flooring. Â Choices in porcelain, ceramic, stone, tile, wood, and laminate. Â Best selection in hardwood – what I’m dreaming of next!
