Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’m joining in the Valentine’s Day “Books with Love” Giveaway Hop,
hosted by Once Upon a Twilight and Good Choice Reading!
The two books in this giveaway have a “love” theme.
The first one is for single women:
Finding Your Prince in a Sea of Toads, How to Find a Quality Guy Without Getting Your Heart Shredded.
Dr. Kenneth Ryan offers straight talk and specific advice on how to look for a man – where all the “princes” are hiding. He discusses communication skills, cultural pressures and misconceptions. All geared towards helping you find a meaningful relationship and a lifetime marriage. The book claims to have a simple plan that “decreases stress, protects the feminine heart, increases enjoyment, and ultimately increases your chances of avoiding the toads and living happily ever after in a great marriage with your prince.” Dr. Ryan talks frankly about premarital sex, characterizing it as the biggest and most common mistake women make – sleeping with guys before they are married.
The second one is for married women who are seeking a closer, better more passionate marriage:
From the back cover: “We grow up believing that one day we will get married, and after that, live happily ever after. But in reality, many of us feel we have done everything right with our spouses, yet something still seems to be missing.
30-Day Marriage Makeover shows you how to energize your relationship and create the intimacy that you long for. In just thirty days you will be on the road to a passionate, healthy marriage – spiritually, emotionally, and sexually – while learning how to make it all last for a lifetime.
The author, Douglas Weiss, PhD, is the executive director of Heart to Heart Counseling Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The author of Intimacy, The Seven Love Agreements, and Sex, Men and God, he is a regular guest on national television and radio.”

I’d like to win prize pack #1! And I have never really had a true Valentine’s Day, so I’d say the worst one was when we had a snow day that day in high school and I had to spend the entire day doing make-up homework from being sick.

I’m all for Prize Pack #1 because I am a single gal in my early 30’s. I need all the help I can get. :)
My WORST Valentine’s Day was when I was 16 and I went to this Valentine’s Day banquet with this guy I really liked (OK, I pined for him all through high school). He arrived late (I thought I was going to be stood up) and left early.
I was heartbroken. It was just awful.
And, like a fool, I STILL dreamed of him after that. Ugh.

My worst Valentine was when my boyfriend at the time did a total half hearted job on planning our Valentine dinner. It was so awful that I broke up with him at the end of the night.

I would like prize pack number 2.
This Valentine’s Day was kind of the worst, but not for any reasons of love. I had work and class all day and didn’t get to see my fiance at all. I was so excited to go home after class, but I got hurt on a piece of machinery in the bookbinding lab and had to go to the emergency room for three hours with my professor!
I tweeted about the giveaway my name is @ashbrux

Prize pack 2 . Worse thing about V-day is then you know one day of the year you will be dissappointed cause ur hubby would rather stare at the tv .

I would like prize #2. The worst Valentine’s Day was when my boyfriend at the time gave me a box of candy that had a message written on the back of the box that was not written to me and not from him. I think he must have stolen the box from somebody in our dorm. Luckily my husband is a MUCH better person!
I would love prize #2. I think my best Valentine’s day was this one. It started with my oldest son giving me a card he made (that he hid under his pillow the night before so he would remember to give it to me) and ended with my husband giving me a beautiful dress that is perfect for wearing out on our next date. He was just so thoughtful to go and pick out the dress and I really love it.

#2 prize pack. I really haven’t had many exciting Valentine’s days. One of the best ones recently was going to dinner with my husband and son. :)
