Build A Beautiful Blog Week 2011 – Giveaway from Blogaholic Designs

Emily Murray of Blogaholic Designs started designing blogs almost a year ago and has built a successful business doing something she loves. At Blogaholic Designs, she offers custom blog design, free backgrounds, buttons, templates and is just in the process of launching a Social Network for bloggers!

Her advice to bloggers looking for a new design is to do your research before you finalize. Choose a look that will compliment your blog niche and one that you can see yourself keeping for awhile. It needs to fit your style and make sure you are prepared to convey your personal style to your designer as best as you can so they can get it as close as possible to your design vision. Some good advice!

What do you like best about creating blog designs?

I think I love the creativity that it entails more than anything. There is nothing quite like the feeling of starting with an empty canvas and ending with an amazing design. I love to create items that are unique to my clients and their style. And most of all, I love seeing the finished product that portrays a clients vision knowing they have fallen in love with their design, I can never get enough of “it is better than I ever imagined”!
