When Mary Hess, owner of Mary Mary Quite Contrary Design Shop, started blogging 5 years ago, she was intrigued by the “gadgets” and various design options. Like many famous entrepreneurs, necessity is the main reason she started the business and wanted to earn income for her family. She is a wife, mother, business owner (multiple) and musician. But most of all she is a child of God.
Mary’s advice for someone who is considering a blog makeover is:
- really think about your favorite colors
- decide how “busy” you want your blog to look – themes, taglines
- the better prepared you are when you approach a designer, the easier the process becomes.
