I hesitated to call this a cookbook, technically it’s a “go-to-guide to making holidays, birthdays, special events, and even the everyday special”.  It includes so much more than recipes!  I love, love, love the book, “Everyday Confetti”.  I’m a huge believer in creating positive memories by observing family traditions.  “Everyday Confetti” has ideas galore for celebrating life with your family.  And the ideas feel doable.  There not over-reaching projects requiring a ton of time or money.  It’s easy to read, you can spend a minute and read just a few pages or sit down with a cup of hot cocoa and enjoyably read for hours.

The mixture of text, recipes, illustrations and quotes makes this book a joy to read.  It’s inspiring, fun, and thoughtful.  I can’t say enough good things about it – anyone would love this book.  Oh, do you know anyone who is having a first baby?  This would be a great gift that would help them thoughtfully plan for celebrations and dream.

The name “Everyday Confetti” refers to the authors desire to help the reader “toss a little confetti into the everyday”.  Going beyond traditional holidays and celebrations, they want us to be on the “lookout for days and ways to make the ordinary extraordinary.
