I recently attended an event in Chicago and learned a ton of great info about new things happening at Sprint.  Here’s a breakdown of what I thought of as the most exciting news.
Coverage
We all know how important coverage is when it comes to cell phones. Â No longer are dropped calls or dead zones acceptable. Â Sprint is upgrading and updating their equipment to provide the best possible service. Â I have to admit that I don’t understand all the technology, okay, I don’t understand most of the technology, but I do understand investment in infrastructure and that is what Sprint is committing to, now and in the future.
Latest Devices
After coverage, having the latest devices is next on my list of important cell phone issues. Â You might have seen the television commercials recently, Sprint has iPhone Forever – a plan to ensure that you will have the latest iPhone anytime one is available. Â Seriously, anytime. Â If Apple comes out with a new iPhone six months after the one you have? Â Bam! Â You get a new phone. Â How cool is that?!
Cost
Sprint offers consumers the most affordable way to get:
o  iPhone 6s 16GB – $15 per month with trade-in
o  iPhone 6s Plus 16 GB – $19 per month with trade-in
·      Customers can pair iPhone Forever with the best Unlimited and Family Share Plans among national carriers.
Convenience
Don’t have time to go to a store and wait in line?  Well Sprint has something new that brings everything you need to you.  This is so cool!  With Sprint Direct 2 You, the “store” comes to your house, or your office, or where ever you want.  They will bring you your new device, help you set it up, and get you going without having to visit a store.  Bam!
Prepaid
If prepaid is the way you roll, Sprint is still the carrier for you.  Did you know Sprint owns Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.  Yup!  We are talking choices here! Boost Mobile offers a $30 Data Boost Up plan. After signing up for automatic payments with Auto Re-Boost, get unlimited talk, text and data with 2GB of high-speed data for $30 per month.  Virgin Mobile Unlimited plans now include more high-speed data. Starting at $35/month, you get unlimited talk, text and data with 1GB of high-speed data.  And if you still want the Sprint name, Sprint Prepaid offers great value and flexibility without annual contracts. All plans have unlimited talk and text with your choice of data options.  Choices, I say!
Android CameraÂ
Sprint gave me a new LG G4 to test and I love, love, love the new camera.  First is a major fun selfie feature.  To take a selfie you just open and close your hand.  No touching the screen.  I know, cool, right?
The clarity is crazy good.  I took the picture below for a recent blog post and LOVE the crispness of the photo.  The LG G4 is the first smartphone from Sprint with a total of 24 megapixels of crisp photo clarity – a 16MP Rear-Facing camera and an 8MP Front-Facing selfie camera.

The monthly charges for data is what’s keeping me from getting a smartphone.
