No Mom EverThis has been the worst winter ever for colds and flu in our family.  Sheesh!  We are ready for summer.  If we stayed home every day we weren’t feeling well or had a cold this year, we wouldn’t have been out of the house much at all. If you’re a mom, like me, you know that the kids don’t stop just because you are sick.  My husband and daughter do try to help out when I’m sick, but intentions are usually stronger than the results *wink*.  There may be no cure for the cold, but there are over-the-counter products you can take to improve or even eliminated the symptoms.  There’s no reason to suffer anymore (especially if your family and boss don’t notice anyway!).

I’m choosing to fight that cold!  One of the weapons in my arsenal is Vicks DayQuil/NyQuil.

DayQuil 3

If you’ve ever stayed awake coughing, you know the toll it can take on your ability to function the next day.  Vicks NyQuil helps Sean and I when we need a good night’s sleep but can’t because of stuffiness or coughs.  NyQuil has three active ingredients that work to suppress the urge to cough, reduce fever, alleviate minor aches and pains and relieve sneezing and runny nose.  Cherry is my favorite flavor of the liquid, but it also comes in Original and Vanilla Cherry Swirl.  Vicks also makes NyQuil in LiquiCaps.

DayQuil 2

For relief during the day, when you want to be awake and alert, Vicks makes DayQuil.  DayQuil helps ease five symptoms of a cold – aches, fever, sore throat, stuffy head and cough.  If you don’t have time to wait for cold symptoms to go away, DayQuil Cold & Flu Relief gives you the relief to power through your day.  Like Nyquil, DayQuil is available in Liquid or in LiquiCaps.  Did you know Vicks DayQuil is the #1 pharmacist recommended brand for adult cough, cold and flu relief?
