“Orange is the New Black” is Netflix’s most watched original series. Â It’s based on the book of the same name by Piper Kerman. Â I’m a member of the Netflix blogging group, the #StreamTeam and they sent me a goody bag this month with “Orange is the New Black” treats! Â I’m excited to be giving away the book to a lucky reader.
From the back cover:
With a career, a boyfriend, and a loving family, Piper Kerman barely resembles the reckless young woman who delivered a suitcase of drug money ten years before. Â But that past has caught up with her. Â Convicted and sentenced to fifteen months at the infamous federal correctional facility in Danbury, Conneticut, the well-heeled Smith College alumna is not inmate #11187-424 – one of the millions of people who disappear ‘down the rabbit hole’ of the American penal system. Â From her first strip search to her final release, Kerman learns to navigate this strange world with its strictly enforced codes of behavior and arbitrary rules. Â She meets women from all walks of life, who surprise her with small tokens of generosity, hard words of wisdom, and simple acts of acceptance. Â Heartbreaking, hilarious, and at times enraging, Kerman’s story offers a rare look into the lives of women in prison – why it is we lock so many away and what happens to them when they’re there.
One lucky KLY reader will win a copy of the #1 New York Times Bestselling book, “Orange Is The New Black”.

I have never had Netflix, but I have been thinking about getting it.
I have Netflix and I love being able to choose from a big selection of movies to watch — both favorites and new ones that I haven’t seen.

I have Netflix and I love being able to watch a movie whenever I want.
I don’t have it but I think I’d like it. There are some shows on there I’d like to see and the availability of movies is great, too.
I don’t have it, I still remember when the dvds would come to your house for $8 or something. If I had it, I’d be binging on all my fav shows nonstop. I like that Netflix offers HD quality and a lot of things to watch
i used to have Netflix back when it was only by mail. I may start again now that you can stream movies and tv shows.
I do have netflix and I watch orange on it.
Yes we changed to Netflix instead of a cable subscription because it’s much cheaper than cable. I like that there are a lot of series available there as well as cartoons for my daughters.
I am very sad because I do NOT have Netflix. i have this series DVD’s on my Christmas wishlist though.
We love Netflix! We watch it all the time!
I don’t have my own Netflix account but I use my friend’s account. I like best when it gives you suggestions of what to watch based off of what you have watched in the past.

We love Netflix, we actually quit cable and chose to do Netflix and Hulu for a MUCH smaller price than cable ever was!
I’ve had netflix for years and years. I love that everyone in the family can find something to watch.
Yes, we have it, and what I like most is being able to watch what I want, when I want to watch it.
We recently got NetFlix. I like that I don’t have to return anything or mail anything back when I’m done watching something!
