I’m a college student. With what seems like 98% of my monkey going towards tuition, I coupon like crazy to save money. I also do frugal and environmentally friendly things, like hanging my clothes to dry and using absolutely NO paper towels. I’d love to have this book!

we started using the envelope system- that way we pull out a certain amount of money and the rest in the checking account is for bills and some goes directly into the saving account- but i could use lots more tips

Since we have only one income while I am waiting for disability approval, which have been 18 months so far, I have found that I do not buy anything we do not NEED. I really stop and think before I buy anything. I think I will actually continue this even after I am approved for disability. I look back and realize how many things I bought that are sitting on shelves collecting dust. It has been a very hard lesson, but one I am happy to have learned. Also, we lost everything in our pantry, other than cans, to bugs, so all my purchases for stockpiling went in the garbage too. The other thing, probably should be first on the list, is tithing and prayer. God has provided everything we have needed to make it through to each paycheck one way or the other. I do not worry anymore because I know he will provide our daily bread.
