Giveaway – Band Angels!

“Mommy, I NEED a Band Angel!” Too cute! I love, love, love this product. It’s worth getting Band Angels just to hear your child say the name!

About a year ago, I googled “twelve step program for addiction to band-aids”. Seriously, I did. Rosie is addicted to bandages. One morning I was in the shower and it was quiet…. I knew something was going on, because Rosie is never quiet! Sure enough, I peeked out to see her covered, covered from face to toes in bandages. She had found my hidden stash and depleted our entire supply.  It’s so crazy, out-of-control, that we would buy generic bandages in bulk.

Now that she’s a bit older, Rosie is a bit more selective and as long as she won’t go through more than 100 (okay, that was exaggerating) in a day, we let her buy decorated ones. Her favorite bandage heroes used to be Barbie and Dora. They’ve been replaced (and mom says yippee!!).

Band Angels were developed by Tim and Tami West, when their grandchild developed Juvenile Diabetes and had to test four times a day. They saw the opportunity to encourage prayer and treat an injury more seriously with a scripture verse and angel on the bandage. Band Angels are now supported by MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) and the Association of Christian Schools.

I love these they are so cute! My 4-yr old daughter too has a bandaid addiction so she would totally love wearing these to church & preschool there.

These are FANTASTIC! Bandaids are meant to stop bleeding…but for little people, they are so much more. It is a comfort thing. My kids have even used bandaids on scratches that aren’t bleeding. Having verses on them will just remind them about their heavenly Father and how much He loves them. How neat!

I think they are really sweet and I would be using them on my kiddos boo-boos! :-)

These are too cute! My kids aren’t addicted to band aids, but they are clumsy so they end up with lots of scrapes and cuts! I’d pick these over Barbie any day.
