beach

I am so, so, SO ready for the beach!  If you haven’t noticed, recently there have been less giveaways and posts here at KLY.  My dad is going through some health challenges that have my mom and I hopping.  Sometimes real life just sticks it’s nose all up in your business.  You know what?  My daughter tells me I shouldn’t try to talk “street”, so if that was AWKward, I apologize.

bella Andre look of love

Bella Andre Bag

Anywho, the wonderful author, Bella Andre sent me a beach bag (a cute beach bag) full of goodies and is going to give one to a lucky KLY reader!  My bag sat, unopened in my dining room while I dealt with real life, and then, better-late-than-never I opened it.  This is the email I sent after seeing the contents:

“OMG!  I opened the bag….. WOW!  Talk about fun goodies :)  *HUGE SMILE*  WOW!”
Sometimes when you’re having a rough day, a ray of sunshine peeks through.  That was my sunshine.  I love girly-girl stuff and there was definitely girl stuff in this goody bag!  We’re talking romance novel, nail color, jewelry, sunglasses…. wee-ooo-doggy! Goodies are from great companies like OPI, Unisun Eyewear, Vapur, Jade & Jasper, Soulmates, and more.
Bella Andre Wrapped
Bella Andre is my new angel.  The book is called “The Look of Love” and it will transport you from whatever is going on in your life to a happier place.  It’s the land of beautiful people and romance.  The Sullivan family will have you laughing, drooling, and wishing you were one of them!  In “The Look of Love” Chase Sullivan is the focus character.  He is a successful international photographer who stops to help a stranded motorist one day and his life is changed forever.  Chloe Peterson has just left an abusive relationship and the last thing she is looking for is another man.  But we don’t always have control of where life takes us!
  • “Bella Andre writes warm, sexy, contemporary romance that always gives me a much needed pick me up. Reading one of her books is truly a pleasure.”–New York Times bestselling author Maya Banks
  • “The Look of Love is an emotionally compelling, thoroughly sexy, lovely read. I can’t wait for more Sullivan brothers!”–New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips
  • “Sensual, empowered stories enveloped in heady romance.”— Publishers Weekly
  • “Don’t miss a single one of Bella’s titles”–Affaire de Coeur magazine
Bella Andre Unwrapped
I’m not sure if the winner will have the exact same goodies in their bag, but I’m guessing that it will be along the same theme and will bring squeals of delight.  The Bella Andre team even wrapped each one – so fun!!

Well, I DO write romance novels so I guess I have an unfair advantage. To be fair I’ll think of someone I’ve never written about. I do think brains in a hot body are sexy – how about a physicist who’s designing a way to make nuclear energy safe? Now he’s smart, sexy and he’s helping to make the world a better place! No, that doesn’t work. Maybe a chef who want nothing more in life that to create gooey chocolate desserts for the woman of his dreams?
