If you didn’t win the book, The Bone Yard, by Jefferson Bass in the recent Fools for Books giveaway, don’t despair! You have another chance! Enter here to win one of four copies!

About the Book

This is a forensic thriller from New York Times Bestselling author, Jefferson Bass – actually a writing team.  Jefferson Bass is two collaborating authors, Dr. Bill Bass and Jon Jefferson.  Jon Jefferson is a veteran journalist, writer, and documentary filmmaker.  Dr. Bass is a world-renowned forensic anthropologist and founded the famous, Body Farm.

There are two main story lines in The Bone Yard.  The first is the investigation of a death, called a suicide.  The sister of the victim, Angie St. Claire, suspects her sister’s husband of murder and asks Dr. Bill Brockton, of the Body Farm, to help her prove it.  While they are investigating Angie’s sister’s death, Dr. Brockton is asked to consult on another case, adolescent skulls have been found amid the pines and live oaks of the Florida panhandle.

Both stories are of course, difficult to read – as stories of abuse always are.  But the mystery and suspense generated by the authors make this a page-turner!  If you like Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta, CSI, Bones, or police dramas like Castle, you will enjoy The Bone Yard!
