What is an Air Pick ?
Air Pick is an electronic guitar pick.
As you move it, it will play – in sequence – the notes to some of the great rock guitar riffs. Â If you ‘strum’ the air pick slowly, the chords will play slowly.
If you move the air pick quickly the sound will speed up.
So, recently my 8 year old son has decided that he is going to be the next Jimi Hendrix or BB King and has me buying all of these air guitars and amps and has recently even asked for $200 guitar lessons.  I chuckle at him because he believes if you have a debit card you just swipe it and it gets you whatever you want.  To this I reference the Air Pick made by the Ohio Art Company in Bryan, Ohio.  I was thinking, “Oh great another air guitar thing for him to beg for.”  Oh my goodness was I wrong.  I find myself rocking out to the Rolling Stones 1964-1971 “I can’t get no Satisfaction” (of course when nobody is home to see mom rockin’ out).
It’s small and has a clip on it for his back pack or belt loop. Â You strum the air and it’s one small little electronic pick. Â In my son’s words…and now mine…”It’s so cool!!!” There are a few to choose from like Classic or Rebel, but we have the Rolling Stones pick. Â As far as my playing skills got me I think it’s playing about two bars of the song. Â Consensus is that it would make a great stocking stuff for any boy or girl over age 6.
