I’m a Scentsy – newbie and already an addict. When Kelly Smith contacted me to ask if I would do a giveaway, I was so excited!! I’d seen the name around but never really understood how it worked. It is so cool!! There is a little light bulb that sits inside a “warmer” jar-kind-thing. A decorative plate sits on top and when you put pieces of scented wax in it, they melt and give off the most wonderful smells. Simple and oh, so smart!
Why not just light a candle, you ask? Well, for me, several reasons. I used to be a big candle fan, but with a small child? Ummm, not so much. No matter where I put it, I would worry that she would be fascinated by it and get burned. Then there’s the soot… I once put a candle in our small powder room during a party and it turned the ceiling black! We actually had to repaint. Not all candles do that, but it always makes me nervous.
May Warmer of the Month
Beyond the obvious benefits of making the air smell good, I also love the cozy light the warmer sheds out into the room. It’s soft and bright – love it! Somehow it feels softer and more peaceful to have a low light and pleasant scent.

Tips from Kelly Smith:
- It helps to switch scents after a few days, because people tend to get de-sensitized to the same scent. If you switch out, you will realize that the scent is still really strong and notice it.
- Once you have melted wax from a bar, you CAN pour the wax back into the container to be RE-USED again – which is fantastic!!
