I made that Fruit Cheesecake Stack! Â Wow! The Stackable Appetizer Maker made me look like I knew what I was doing *grin*.
The first time I saw this kitchen gadget , the Stackable Appetizer Maker, was at the Chicago Housewares Show. Â I was amazed at how easy it was to make amazing looking appetizers and desserts. Â You don’t have to be a chef to make treats for your next party that will have your guests asking you how you did it!
I saw the demonstration and the company sent me pictures, but I had to try it for myself before I could tell you it really worked. Â Last night, my daughter and I made these two holiday recipes. Â They turned out delicious and pretty! Â Easy-peasy!
One lucky KLY reader is going to win a Stackable Appetizer Maker, enter in the Rafflecopter form at the end of the post. Â Good luck!
The Stackable Appetizer Maker lets you layer ingredients and holds them all in place while you cut through to get beautiful stacked treats! Â There are four pieces. Â The frame, the tamper, the cut-and-carry base and a slicer. Â They are all strong, nice quality and easy to clean. Â Dishwasher-safe, if you want to do that. Â So on to the recipe!
The first recipe is a twist on the spinach dip that we’ve all loved for years. Â I used Hawaiian bread rolls to get that same combination of flavors. Â I was surprised at how delicious the spinach dip was with the roasted red peppers – yummy! Â I also used Whipped Cream Cheese. Â I just prefer that lighter taste and it’s easier to spread. Â I’m not sure if next time I would use pumpernickel. Â It was easy and tasted good, but I don’t think the dark color looked the best. Â Oh, and I also sprinkled some Rosemary on top.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I was sent a maker for review.
I love desserts, so I’d probably say desserts…but this looks great too, so maybe I will be inspired to do more appetizers. :D
I love making them both about equal – and eating them, for that matter. I’d say appetizers over desserts more, just because I think we eat more snack trays while we watch movies or sports. Those tend to be more about non-sweet food.
I’d make more desserts – those look really good you made
I would make more appetizers!
I guess it would be desserts as I tend to make those more often.

I would make desserts more often because you could cut them into correct portion sizes. It would also help shape some desserts better than if you did not have one of these.
Definitely, desserts. What a clever idea!
