Intriguing… exotic… spirited… lively… sophisticated… culinary creation.
These are all words from the Tea forte Iced Tea Brewing Pitchers box. Â And they accurately describe the tea and experience of brewing this “tea-over ice”. Â I made a pitcher yesterday when my mom was over visiting. Â Rosie had so much fun and my mom and I kept saying, “Wow, this is so pretty.”
Tea forte describes their brewing pitchers as “sculpturally designed”. Â There are two pitchers – the smaller one sits on top of the larger one. Â It’s easy to make the-best-ice-tea you have ever tasted. Â Just put one of the uniquely shaped infusers in the top pitcher, add boiling water. Â Fill the bottom pitcher with ice. Â After the tea has steeped for 3-5 minutes, pour the top pitcher into the bottom. Â This is a “flash chill” and my mom and I both remarked on how cold the tea was.
Note, this is really easy and quick but I’m drawing it out into lots of steps, just because it is so pretty and fun to make!
Step One: Â Fill bottom pitcher with ice.
Step Two: Â Choose a flavor of iced tea (this is the hardest step, because they all sound soooooo good! Â Iced Ceylon Gold, Iced Lavender Citrus, Iced Pomegranate Blackberry, Iced Raspberry Nectar, Iced White Ginger Peach. Â I mean, seriously, how do you pick? Â We chose Iced Raspberry Nectar after much debate *wink*.
Step Three: Â Pour boiling water over the unique tea infuser. Â Steep. Â Is this not the coolest thing? Â We were just gaga over the little leaf and the shape of the infuser. Â These are the little things that make something special! Â *sigh* It’s a girl thing.
 Step Four:  Pour steeped tea over ice.
Isn’t that pretty?!
Okay, I have to take a break and go make some iced tea!
