It makes me sad to read about poverty in America. There should not be 22% of American children living in poverty.
After basic needs, the micro-loans are a great program. I have been reading about the difference these very tiny loans make in people’s lives, allowing them to start and maintain small businesses.
I would give a gift to my daughter. She would like that part of it goes to people in need, because she is very into volunteerism.
