We are huge Wubbzy fans in our house. This fun creature, together with his friends, Walden and Widget, make us laugh as we learn about caring, sharing, being yourself and embracing differences. (Not everyone has a bendy-tail!)
Anchor Bay Entertainment released a new DVD of Wubbzy episodes called “Wubbzy Saves The Dayâ€. We find these DVDs perfect for car travel! They magically turn a cranky, “When are we going to get there?”-Rosie into a “I’m a happy bug”-Rosie. Perfect for pre-schoolers, “Wubbzy Saves The Day†comes adorable special features including a fun printable growth chart.
In “Wubbzy Saves The Day,†viewers join Wubbzy as he hosts a bird-watching slumber party, has a memorable picnic in the park with Daizy and Widget and much more! Plus, they’ll find out whether Wubbzy can help a lost group of baby “chirpees†find their way home or stop a snoozing “Moo Moo†from vesting kooky spells all over Wuzzleburg!
One of Rosie’s favorite things about the Wubbzy shows his the music. It always gets her up and moving (except in the car, of course!)
Wubbzy always using lessons with positive reinforcement. This is what the creator, Bob Boyle, says about the show, “First and foremost we want to entertain kids and make them laugh. We use humor to drive our stories. In fact we have joked that “comedy is our curriculum!” We use classic cartoon physical comedy as a way to keep the kids laughing so that they just naturally soak up the underlying message. Just like a good kitchen sponge!”
