Disney’s Spooky Buddies – Ends Wednesday, 9/28!

Just in time for Halloween, Disney is releasing, “Spooky Buddies”!  Those adorable puppies that you saw in Santa Buddies, Snow Buddies and more, are coming back in a not-so-scary Halloween treat.  The DVD release is hitting shelves on Tuesday, September 20th.  Win your own copy by entering the KLY giveaway.

VTech Phone System with Connect to Cell – Ends Friday, 9/30!

Today’s moms are “Janes of all trades” — with starring roles as the family cook, banker, personal shopper, babysitter, chauffeur, logistics planner, social scheduler and, generally, the glue that holds it all together. As back-to-school season is already here, life accelerates and “supermoms” need even more help keeping the chaos under control. This giveaway is a chance to win a tool that can help you as the chief orchestrators of home and school life cope with the busy back-to-school season.

Book:  The Eden Prescription – Ends Saturday, 10/1

In the style of the television series, DamagesThe Eden Prescription is a suspense thriller with twists and turns; hidden alliances; complex relationships, and secret societies.  Written by scientist and inventor, Ethan Evers, this story will have you on the edge of your seat.

Music:  Get In, I’m Driving by Ginny Owens – Ends Saturday, 10/1

Ginny Owen’s voice and style, other than in the first track, remind me of a combination of Diana Krall and Norah Jones.  She succeeds equally in blues and folk songs.  Heartbreak comes through in, “Rain”  but hope comes through just as strongly in “Before You Fly”.  Enter to win this new CD!

Movie DVD:  The Shunning, based on the book by Beverly Lewis – Ends Saturday, 10/1

Directed by Michael Landon, Jr. and starring Danielle Panabaker, “The Shunning” tells the story of Katie Lapp, a young Amish woman who begins to question her faith just as she begins to learn the secrets of her birth.  I don’t know if it’s because adoption is such a personal issue for me, or if I’m just generally a fan of Hallmark Channel movies, but whew, this one hit me in the heart!
