Rosie and I had so much fun making these beautiful Photo Jewelry Making Holiday Ornaments! Did you receive any photo holiday cards this year? If you did, it’s the perfect time to use them to create these special ornaments for next year. You can scan the picture into your computer, resize, and make a special gift for the recipient next year! Wouldn’t you love to receive a photo holiday ornament with last year’s Christmas card photo in it? It’s customized, personalized and beautiful!
I can’t show you pictures of my friends and family without permission, so for the post I used pictures of Rosie from past Christmas holidays. I added the year on each one and now we have a keepsake collection. Here’s how we made them.
1. Choose your picture. It needs to be in digital format or use a scanner and create a digital file.
2. Use your own software or the software provided with the ornaments to resize your picture. You can crop to show just the person’s face. The ornaments are small, so I suggest just using the face.
3. Print and cut out your picture.
4. Slide the picture into the cover and frame.
5. Hang and enjoy!
Idea for party favor: Create ornaments with the faces of your guests. Place near the door as a decoration. As people leave, give them their ornament!
There are so many things you could use these for. How about gift tags? Put a picture of the gift recipient in the tag.
The company also makes other photo jewelry options and the prices are very reasonable! Check them out at www.photojewelrymaking.com.
The ornament kit for the ornaments Rosie and I made are on sale right now for only $14.99 (for six ornaments). http://www.photojewelrymaking.com/photo-christmas-ornaments-swirled.aspx
