How do you celebrate decorating your Christmas tree? Â I like to have a Tree Decorating Party – even if it’s just my family. Â This year, we invited my mom to party with us (and by “party”, I mean “help”)!
It’s not a party around here unless you have food and music.  I put on the Christmas station and then popped some holiday appetizers in the oven.  Rich’s SeaPak Spring Rolls are super easy but look like you cooked all day, they even make my “Easy Meal Ideas” list.  Ladies Home Journal named Rich’s SeaPak Spring Rolls in their Fifteen Best Frozen Appetizers, saying, “Combining seafood and Asian flavors, these crispy little spring rolls tasted fresh despite being frozen.”  The Today Show recommended them for “consumers looking to host a holiday party who don’t need to make elaborate, from-scratch recipes to entertain this year.”
It was easy to create a pretty party table with holiday decorations! Â I went with a red and white theme because that’s the colors of our tree decorations. Â The Rich’s SeaPak Spring Rolls fit in perfectly, sitting on a white paper. Â I have a supply of glass plates (they match every holiday!) and put one on a silver charger to add some sparkle. Â My “tablecloth” is wrapping paper that added some gleam and color to the buffet. Â A few ornaments here and there go along with the tree decorating party theme and brighten up the space. Â There are many pretty red sparkling beverages that look pretty in flutes and add a party feel to any meal. Â Voila! Â Oh, and the dipping sauces! Â I wanted red and white, red was easy – traditional seafood sauce. Â Google helped me find ideas for a white sauce. Â Cucumber Yogurt Dipping Sauce is a cool sauce for Rich’s SeaPak Spring Rolls. Â Here’s my recipe:
Recipe for Cucumber Yogurt Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup of plain yogurt
1/3 cup of mayonnaise
2 small cucumbers, diced fine
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Optional: Â hot sauce
Combine all the ingredients and add hot sauce to taste or serve separately for individual seasoning.
The Rich’s SeaPak Spring Rolls are flaky and crisp on the outside and delicious on the inside. Â The shrimp are large and plentiful!
Besides eating and drinking, we did actually get around to decorating the tree!
I found Rich’s SeaPak Spring Rolls in the frozen seafood section at Walmart.  There was a demo at Walmart last week, it’s so fun to be able to try new foods before you buy.  Especially for party foods.  It was good to know it would be a hit to #PaktheParty!

Going to have to try that dip – we LOVE their Spring rolls, they really do cook up crunchy & wonderful right in the oven! I also love them as a quick lunch w/a salad as well, YUMMY!
