Eppa Sangria Inside 2

We decided to celebrate the Oscars last night with some California weather instead of Chicago.  And what says summer better than fresh fruit and sangria?!  Ah, but your saying, “Who has time to make sangria?”  Well, for those of us that prefer to just pour-and-go, Eppa has bottled sangria for us,  Eppa SupraFruta Sangria.  And it is delicious!  Eppa has chosen wines from Mendocino County, a part of California’s North Coast wine growing region, and organic fruit juices to create a premium quality sangria that you simply pour and enjoy.

Eppa Label

The first thing I loved about Eppa Sangria was the bottle.  When I was in college, part of one of my classes was studying wine bottle and glass design and marketing.  Am I the only one that is strongly influenced by the way a wine looks?  The design of the Eppa logo and labeling is perfect to communicate the fun and fruitiness of this wine.  Just like the sangria, the bottle looks young and bright with a touch of modern sophistication.

Eppa Sangria Made With Organic Fruits

The next thing that struck me about Eppa Sangria was when I opened the bottle and instantly caught a whiff of the grapes, pomegranate and oranges that are some of the ingredients.  Mmmmm, it smelled delicious.  In addition to the ingredients I noticed immediately, Eppa Sangria Red also has blueberry and acai.  Even better, Eppa uses organic fruit juices.  Organic fruit juices make Eppa SupraFruta Sangria antioxidant-rich – boasting nearly twice the antioxidants as a glass of red wine.

  • Eppa Red: made with pomegranate, blueberry, blood orange, and acai juices giving it almost twice the antioxidants as a glass of red wine
  • Eppa White: made with mangosteen, peach, mango and blood orange juices giving it nearly three times the antioxidants as a glass of white wine

Eppa Sangria Over IceOf course, my favorite thing about Eppa Sangria is the taste.  It is fruity without being overly sweet.  Delicious!  We had the red with our Mexican dinner of tacos and salsa.  This wine will pair well with just about anything and it’s full-bodied flavor is rich enough to stand alone.  Oh, I forgot to say, another thing I love about Eppa Sangria is that you serve it over ice.
