September is Life Insurance Awareness Month! Have you thought about having adequate life insurance to protect your family in the event that something should happen to you or your spouse? It’s the perfect time to evaluate whether you have enough protection for the most important people in your life.
The nonprofit LIFE Foundation is sponsoring a campaign on Facebook called the “Insure Your Love Mosaic” in support of Life Insurance Awareness Month.
To join in the “Insure Your Love Picture Mosaic” you can upload up to 20 photos of your loved ones, whose financial future has been safeguarded by their decision to purchase life insurance. You can also add a caption explaining who is in the picture or why the picture is meaningful to you. The mosaic recognizes and celebrates those who have made the decision to protect their loved ones by owning life insurance and introducing them to a community of others who have made the same decision.
At the same time, you will be helping the Life Lessons Scholarship Program, which provides tuition assistance to students who have lost a parent and are struggling to achieve their dream of a college education. For each photo uploaded, $1 will be donated to the LIFE Lessons Scholarship Program.
LIFE Foundation has the answers to many frequently asked questions about life insurance such as:
How much life insurance do I need?
Where do I buy life insurance?
According to the industry research group LIMRA, 11 million U.S. households with children under age 18 have no coverage. Those families are just one illness or accident away from a financial crisis. Life insurance can do the things that you would want to do if you could – pay for your child’s education; keep a family business afloat; keep your family in their home. But you need to own it!
To add your photo to the “Insure Your Love Mosaic”, go to the LIFE Foundation Facebook page and follow the instructions. It’s easy and a great way to increase awareness and help a worthy tuition assistance program!
Disclosure:Â I will receive a gift card as part of a promotional program with the LIFE Foundation and MomSelect.
