Mario Lopez, Please Makeover My Man! Men’s Fashion Do’s and Don’ts! New #MaLoUnderwear

Are you proud of the way your man looks?  Do you feel good taking him to an event with your co-workers?  Do you love posing for pictures with your guy?  Well, if not, (and believe me most of us are cringing right now) here’s some tips and motivation to makeover your man!

Did you hear Mario Lopez has come out with a new line of men’s underwear?  It’s so good, it’s bad.

Men’s Fashion “Don’ts” for Your Guy

1. Don’t get stuck in the past!

All of us, but especially men, find a look that is comfortable and they think they are finished… forever.  “Why change? It’s workin’ for me.”  Okay, mister, I am pulling you out of whenever and into the PRESENT!  You are no longer a college kid – ditch the college wear and concert t-shirts.  At least go to a professional sports team, c’mon!  Seriously, once you get past a certain age (23), the over-sized college sweatshirts need to go.

2.  Don’t be a slob!

Women call it the shlumpadinka look.  For men, it’s… well, “slob” kind of sums it up.  There’s no reason why your clothes can’t fit!  Not tight, but fit.

3.  Just because you got it for Christmas, doesn’t mean you have to wear it.  This also goes along with that – just because it was free doesn’t mean you have to wear it.

Billboards are for advertising, not people.  Save the advertising t-shirts for washing the car – and use them for washing the car, don’t wear them!

Men’s Fashion “Do”s” for Your Guy

1.  Be yourself (within limits).

If you are a casual kinda guy, don’t put yourself into a suit.  But that doesn’t mean the wrinkled, bottom of the drawer shirt is going to be okay.  You might not be comfortable in a tux or a vested suit, but a leather jacket over a solid (no advertising, bands, or concert info) might be the perfect look!

2.  Do go with a classic look, like jeans and a white shirt.  Ahem, and jeans that fit – right length, no baggy-butt!

3.  Care about the things that people can’t see – ie socks and underwear.  It makes a difference!  Women know this, but it’s true for men too.  You have more confidence, feel better, and walk taller when you are in style from head-to-toe.  Including what’s under your clothing.

So makeover your man with #MaLoUnderwear!   (If you’re like me, you may be waiting for when he’s out-of-town to raid his closet).  Be brave!  Do you think you should do it all at once or one piece at a time?  With one piece at a time, you can always look confused and say, “Hmmm, I don’t know what happened to your torn shirt?”
