Did you ever wonder how bloggers find out about paid opportunities for their blogs?  Did you ever wonder how businesses find bloggers to do product reviews? Well, one of the ways is through an organization like Business2Blogger or B2B.  They are matchmakers, of a sort, matching up companies searching for bloggers to promote their products/events through social media campaigns.

It’s very easy to participate.   Do you have a company?  Are you selling a product and looking for a way to advertise and get the word out about your product?  Blog and social media campaigns are proven to generate word-of-mouth marketing and resulting increases in sales!

Are you a blogger looking for companies to sponsor product reviews?  You can sign up for Business2Blogger – it’s easy and it’s free!  B2B will send you 2-3 emails a week that have opportunities and it’s your choice to apply.  Easy?  Absolutely!  And you have complete control of what you apply for, and what you accept.

As a company, how do you design your campaign?  How do you know if, or what to pay?  How do you know how to select bloggers?  B2B has a wealth of information on their site about social media campaigns and will help you through the process.  Click here for more information.

How are the blogs chosen?  It’s a combination of random and selection.  Because the companies ultimately decide who to extend an offer to, it is their criteria that determines what bloggers are chosen.  That means that everyone has a chance!  It’s not only by size, or popularity – a company might be looking for a blog just like yours.  Realistically, I’m guessing that the bigger blogs are chosen more than smaller ones, but it doesn’t mean that just because someone is bigger that you don’t stand a chance.  Especially if the sponsor is looking for a specific geographic location or content niche.  Sign up today, you have nothing to lose and much to gain – click here for more information.

Disclosure:  This post is an entry in the Business2Blogger contest to win an…. squeeeee!… iPad2!  Wish me luck – I would love to win this one!  If you’re a blogger and would like to enter, too, go here for more information   (I hope I get karma points for sharing that!)

Thanks Kelly! What a great resource I didn’t even know about :)

Yes, I love them most for getting campaigns! I do wish in the emails they would say “which company” it is instead of leaving it a mystery. That way you’d know if you had already written for them before you’d know not to apply in some cases.

They are wonderful! I do agree with Barb G. I with they would say which company. I have not reviewed many, but it would be nice to know just in case!
