New Formula for Moon Dough – Review of Ocean Pals, Push & Pop Set

We’ve tried Moon Dough in the past and loved it – but it was definitely an outside activity because it was pretty messy.  So when I received the “new formula” Moon Dough, I have to admit that I played it safe and we head outside.  BUT, shame on me, it was awesome.  This is a new formula and it is very easy to use.  Rosie had a blast with it.

Similar to Playdoh, Moon Dough can be used to form all kinds of fun shapes.  The Ocean Pals set came with green and purple but it’s available in all colors.  You don’t have to buy Moon Dough in a set, it’s also sold in individual containers.

Our set, Ocean Pals, came with a fun play mat that looks like the ocean and molds to make coral, fish, shells, etc.  The Push & Pop Tools were easy to use and Rosie giggled every time she made something with them.  There is a spring thingie that lets you make three-dimensional forms super fast and neatly.  Rosie played for easily a half hour to forty-five minutes and pretty much independently.  (An enthusiastic thumbs-up on that one!)

Moon Dough:

  • Never dries out
  • Is Hypo-Allergenic
  • and Gluten-Free

From the Moon Dough website, you can find it at these stores.
