The veggie experts at Green Giant have introduced a new snack with a crunch and lots of flavor! I love veggie chips – they offer a texture and richness that traditional potato chips just can’t match. The Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips in Barbecue Flavor are my new favorite!
When Green Giant sent me two bags of their new chips, I truly expected to like the Garden Ranch best. But those Barbecue? They knocked my socks off, wow are these chips yummy! You need to try this delicious combination that I made tonight.
I paired the new Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips in Barbecue flavor with a ranch dip. I thought the contrast of the spicy barbecue and coolness of ranch would make a good combination. I was wrong – they make a GREAT combination. Wow. These are wicked good! Whether you make your own ranch dip or pick up pre-made at the grocery store (which is what I did, shhhhhh), this will make an amazing party appetizer. Or when you try this at home for your family, you will want to have a party and may find yourself inviting neighbors over, just because it is that good.
When it came to the Green Giant Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip in Garden Ranch Flavor, I turned to a seasonal favorite of mine – Mediterranean Tabouleh for the dip pairing. I find Tabouleh is especially delicious in the summer. With the fresh taste of parsley, mint and citrus, it’s a great way to celebrate summer in a taste. As we come into back-to-school season, I find myself hanging on to summer and wanting to squeeze every last drop of sunshine out every day. Tabouleh and veggie dips are perfect! Here’s my recipe for Tabouleh or for a quick short cut, carry-out at your local Mediterranean restaurant. (shhh, who said that?)
Mediterranean Tabouleh
Ingredients
3 cups of cooked couscous
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
3/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint
1/4 cup of chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup of chopped cucumber
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
Preparation
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate overnight for flavors to blend together.
Whether they’re packed in a lunchbox, next to a sandwich, paired with a dip… our family gives the new Green Giant Veggie Chips an enthusiastic thumbs up!

I have not tried Veggie Chip’s yet, but I love your review of it, and I will definitely get some of these in the BBQ Flavor to try.
Thanks for the Recipe and the Review.
