It’s summer!
Time to get out of the house and enjoy the great outdoors.
Swimming, hiking, volleyball, softball, or just laying out in the sun. Â Ah, sun.
The winter here in Chiberia was soooooo long.  I’m ready for sunshine!
Are you like our family and love to grill in the summer? Â It fits into our lifestyle to cook and eat outdoors in the summer. Â But we want something quick, so we don’t have to take too much time away from the fun. Â I tried pizza on the grill for the first time and love it! Â If you’ve ever made pizza with kids, you know how fun it is for them to make their own, customizing toppings and sprinkling away. Â Well, cooking pizza on the grill adds one more fun dimension and let’s the whole family participate in preparing and cooking the meal.
The recipe, like the meal, is simple. Only five ingredients!  The KC Masterpiece Original Barbecue Sauce is perfect for this meal because it is thick enough to use as a base, without soaking the crust.  The robust flavor adds the perfect spices to combine with the sweetness of the pineapple.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of  KC Masterpiece Original Barbecue Sauce
- Pizza Crust
- 2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
- 7 oz. Diced, Grilled Chicken
- 8 oz. Pineapple Tidbits
Directions
Unroll Pizza Crust on to preheated grill. Â Close cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Â Remove from grill to add toppings. Â Spread KC Masterpiece Original Barbecue Sauce over entire crust. Â Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken and pineapple chunks. Â Return pizza to grill, close cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Â Enjoy!
2. Â Close cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Â Remove from grill to add toppings.
5. Â Return pizza to grill, close cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Â Enjoy!
