I have been eating out so often that it’s been difficult to stay on the program. Â I haven’t been making good choices from restaurants *sigh* but I’m hanging in there as best I can! Â I keep thinking that “when things settle down” it will be better. Â I need to stop planning and start doing! Â Here’s my Week Two Weigh In – holding steady.
5 Tips to Survive Halloween Without Adding Pounds
1. Â Give out non-candy treats on Halloween night. Â There are many alternatives to candy – stickers, pencils, spider rings, glow sticks, coupons from Wendy’s, Burger King or McDonalds, raisins.
2. Â If you are going to give candy, choose a candy that you don’t like. Â You’ll be less likely to be tempted to eat the treats!
3. Â Don’t skip meals or snacks on the big day. Â Make sure you eat dinner before you start handing out the treats. Â Willpower is easier if you have a full stomach.
4. Â Keep a bowl of veggies munchies handy. Â Baby carrots, celery, or sliced peppers will satisfy the crunch cravings.
5. Â Save your Nutrisystem dessert for trick-or-treat time. Â
I hope we all have a good week!

Glow sticks are awesome and they are not that expensive.
