Are you ready for Spring? Â It’s been a deep freeze here in the Midwest. Â Not only are we ready for spring, we NEED spring! Â I can’t wait for the Chicago Flower and Garden Show this year. Â Navy Pier will be transformed from March 15-23, 2014 with blooming perennials, annuals and trees. Â It is an experience for the senses, invoking thoughts of spring after this record-breaking winter.
The Chicago Flower and Garden Show is presented by Mariano’s this year and many of the flowers that you will see at the Show are also available at your local Mariano’s store.  There will be educational, interactive workshops and seminars by leading industry professionals and cooking demonstrations by Mariano’s Tastemakers like Bill Kim of bellyQ, Rodelio Aglibot of e+o food and drink and Meg Galus of NoMI Kitchen.
