About the Party:
With our hectic schedules, we find ourselves running from appointments to practices and everywhere else in-between. Despite the everyday madness, we still search for easy ways to keep our families energized and healthy. The Grain Foods Foundation has partnered with Mia Hamm, to remind consumers of the important role bread and grains play in a healthy diet.

Bread and other grain foods are among the best sources of complex carbohydrates that the body needs for energy. The Dietary Guidelines for Americans continues to recommend eating six one-ounce servings of grain foods each day, with at least three servings coming from whole grain. Not only do bread and other grains provide energy and essential nutrients our bodies need to stay healthy, they help fight diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, birth defects and some cancers.
