Week 7: Weekly Weigh In and Hooray You!

I survived Christmas!  Wooooo-hoooo!!!  It was a wonderful holiday for my family.  From a weight loss point-of-view however…. not so hot.  I misbehaved seriously and the weight loss train went off the tracks, big time.  In part, it was the Christmas cookies that did me in.  But they were only the first in a series of crumbling resolve issues.  There will be a post coming soon of the Five Things You Don’t Want To Do When You Are Trying To Lose Weight.

I’m not sure what saved me.  I’m guessing part of it is the Nutrisystem Glycemic Index Theory effect on my metabolism.  I don’t know but I was amazed and thrilled when I got on the scale this morning.  I ate Nutrisystem meals less than 50% of the time.  I did always have the awareness that Nutrisystem has given me of smart choices.  But, I’m thinking on this one, I also must have had a lot of luck.  I lost .6 pounds since my last weigh-in and I’m thankful it wasn’t a gain!
