I haven’t done a weigh-in post for a bit. I also haven’t been staying on the Nutrisystem program consistently. As a result, I’ve also stopped losing weight. *frown* The good news is, yesterday morning, I decided it was time for a Fresh Start! The night before, I actually ate the frosting off 1/4 of a cake. Yikes. I think that may have been a reaction to watching Cake Boss. I love that show, but I do get frosting cravings, hehehe.

Here are my top 3 things NOT to do when you are trying to lose weight:
1. Don’t stay up late.
My worst time to control my eating is late at night. I love to stay up late – and eat. Not a good combination. I’m tired, so I don’t fight cravings as well as during the day.
2. Don’t skip breakfast.
It’s a vicious circle, I stay up late and then sleep late and don’t eat breakfast. More reason not to stay up late because the next day I’m tired, and again, not as motivated to watch what I eat.
3. Don’t tweet and eat.
Tweet + Eat = Twitter Butt. I can very easily spend an entire evening on the computer, on the couch, munching away. This is bad on so many levels. No exercise, not enough interaction with my family, too much sitting!
Today, well yesterday, is a new day! A fresh start! Hopefully, this time next week, I will have great news for my Weekly Weigh-In.

Great Tips! I get the awful munchies in the afternoon.
I try to drink water instead of coffee and soft drinks. It does help me to feel full and then not crave snacks.

It is so difficult sometimes when you spend a lot of time on the computer, I think that stints my weight loss results sometimes- that and winter :-P Can’t wait for some fun in the sun!
